SULTAN MOSQUE IN SINGAPORE
Sultan Mosque in Singapore is one of the top tourist attractions. It’s also known as “Masjid Sultan”. You can see its massive golden dome from a far distance.Sultan mosque in Singapore is one of the prominent religious spots for the Muslim community. This mosque has a very big prayer hall with a capacity of 5000 worshipers.
The café and restaurants near to this mosque are not allowed to sell alcohol ordered by Singapore government.
The dome base of this mosque is decorated with glass bottles ends those are donated by the poor Muslim community during mosque construction.

During Muslim holy month “Ramadan” you will see much crowd here. There are many food stalls here with Arabic food like Shawarma and biryani.
The architecture of this mosque is “Islamic-Saracenic style”. And the area of this mosque is 4,109 sqm.
This mosque is also doing charity work such as food distribution and blood donation. And they provide an opportunity for Indonesian to learn “Quran and English” language.
People from any religions can visit this place.

HISTORY OF SULTAN MOSQUE IN SINGAPORE –
This mosque was built for first Singapore sultan “Hussein Shah” in 1824. The founder of Singapore, Sir “Stamford Raffles” donated 3000 Singapore dollar to make single storey building in Sultan Mosque.In 1932 the mosque was rebuilt by famous architecture “Denis Santry”.

You can reach here by MRT just get a train going to “Bugis MRT station” from there you can easily reach here by walking.OPERATING HOURS –
It opens all the days in a week from 9 am to 1 pm then 2 pm to 4 pm.
