Difference between Master, Visa, and RuPay cards |Debit cards types in India From 20th March 2012 NPCI (National Payment Corporation of India) launched the RuPay cards. RuPay work the same as Visa and Master cards.  1.RuPay is an Indian Debit card and you can use it in India and some limited countries, On the other hand, the Visa and Master card are from the USA and can be used internationally. 2.Bank needs to pay less service charge when you use RuPay cards. But when you use Visa and Master card the service charge is higher. 3.Bank need to pay some fee for using Visa and Master card facility but there is no such fee in RuPay card. 4.If your most transactions are India Only then the RuPay card is more secured than Visa and master card. When we use Visa and Master cards for transactions, the data will go to a foreign server and that can be insecure.  But in RuPay the data will in India Only.
