What is a High-security registration plate (HSRP) and How to get it
A high-security registration plate also known as a High-security number plate includes so many details other than your registration number. The high-security number plate is made of Aluminium.
You need to visit the nearest RTO to get your HSRP. You can also get this online (UP and Delhi vehicle only). No HSRP Plate can lead to a fine up to 10000 INR.
The high-security number has 3 plates. Front, back and the last one is the sticker, that will be paste on the front glass.
This plate contains -
1. Hot stamped chromium-based hologram of Ashok chakra. This stamp can not be removed.
2. IND letters in blue letter
3. Permanent or unique identification number
4. Vehicle number. You can easily see your vehicle number from a 200-meter distance night.
5. “INDIA” named print on vehicle number in 45-degree angel.
6. White reflecting paint.
7. Snap lock not screw anymore.
Benefits of high-security number plate -
1. A thief can not make any change on this plate. He can not make a duplicate plate.
2. If someone has done a crime using the vehicle, you can see his number from a far distance.
3. Unique number give so many information like -
- Vehicle owner name
- Which RTO issue registration certificate or RC
- Model number
- Dealer address
