Effect of Soda or soft drink in our body
There are lots of people dying and getting serious diseases because of drinking Soda or soft drinks every year. But still, we are drinking these bad drinks because the Film acter, sports star keeps on promoting soft drinks. You can see their posters everywhere promoting these dangerous drinks.
They are getting a good amount of money but we are getting so many health problems.
So here the bad effects of Soda or soft drinks in our body -
1. Too much soft drink produce bad fat -
Most of the soft drinks made of water and sugar. And the sugar there is Glucose and Fructose. Glucose is easily metabolized by our body but fructose turns in to fat.
Fructose is metabolized by the liver in our body to fat. And this fat makes a bad fat known as Triglyceriods in our blood. And that can lead to heart problems and fatty liver.
2. You will gain weight -
Fructose present in a soft drink makes belly fat in our body. And that fat can be very harmful which will lead to heart and type 2 Diabetes.
3. You will have Type 2 Diabetes -
When we drink soda every day it disturbs the production of Insulin in our body. There will be no insulin or very little production. That leads to Type 2 Diabetes.
4. Not good for the heart -
Soda will increase blood sugar levels and bad cholesterol in our body. And that leads to many heart diseases like stroke and heart attack.
5. It is addictive -
When we dink we soda our brain release Dopamine a feel-good chemical because soda contains caffeine. And we want to repeat this practice again and again.
And that will make it addictive. You should completely stop it now. There are no nutrients in Soda it just gives you unwanted calories.
6. Poor dental health -
Soda contains Phosphoric, Carbonic acid, and sugar. This acid and sugar mixture is not good for teeth.
The acid starts decaying your teeth. And sugar provides food for bad bacteria in your mouth. And these bad bacteria will also damage your teeth.
7. Can lead to Dementia -
A high amount of sugar in Soda is not good for the brain. You maybe suffer from memory loose, that condition known as Dementia. Other brain functions also may be affected by communication and thinking.
A 250 ml can of soda has around 7 to 10 tablespoon of sugar. We should not consume more than 6 Tablespoon of sugar per day.
8. You will die earlier -
A study conducted in the USA shows that if you drink daily Soda that can lead to premature death. And that death will be caused by heart disease and cancer.
1 to 2 can of soda per day increase your chance of heart disease and cancer by 14%.
9. Poor bone health -
Phosphoric acid present in soda or soft drinks interferes with the calcium absorption by the bone. This leads to week bone.
10. Cause cancer -
Drinking regularly soft drinks and soda will increase the chance of having cancer -
- Pancreatic cancer
- Prostate cancer
- Breast cancer
