What is Gyan Mudra and what are Gyan mudra benefits
Gyan mudra is a special type of hand gesture during meditation and yoga. Gyan Mudra is the most commonly used hand Gesture during meditation. Gyan mudra also is known as the chin or Dhyan mudra. Gyan is a Sanskrit word, which means Knowledge.
WHY WE DO HAND MUDRAS -
Whenever we touch the tips of our fingers with others' fingers, some part of our brain gets stimulated. And that stimulation is good for us.
That's why Hand mudras are get practiced during meditation and Yoga.
HOW TO DO GYAN MUDRA -
This mudra is one of the easiest mudras to do. You need to sit first. For doing Gyan Mudra first open your both palm now touch the tip of your Index finger with your thumb tip.
Just make a circle with thumb and index finger. Leave other's fingers in a straight and relaxed position.
If you want to do mediation with Gyan mudra just place your hand on your knee while you are sitting.
Now close your eyes and just focus on your beath. Don’t let any thoughts come in your mind.
Inhale slowly - stop - exhale slowly with an “OM” sound.
Repeat this process at least 5 minutes.
You need to practice daily about 30 minutes of Gyan mudra to get its maximum results.

At our fingertips, there is a good amount of energy. In Hinduism, the Index finger represents Planet Jupiter or Guru. Which is a symbol of wisdom? And our thumb represents supreme consciousness or Brahman.
