How to drive a manual car|Things You should know before driving a car

Before start driving, you should know some important points. These points will help you a lot to drive. 

1. Staring - Use for rotating the wheel.

2. Gears - Use to increase the speed of the vehicle. Usually, there are 5 Gears in a vehicle.



3. There are 3 pedals named from right to left -

- Accelerator - Situated right side. use the right foot to press the Accelerator. The more you press the Accelerator more will the speed of the car.

- Break - use Right feet to press break. It is situated in the middle.

- clutch - press clutch only with the left foot. Mostly It's situated on the left side.


4. Speedometer - Check your vehicle speed.

5. Hand brake - use when vehicle in park. You must turn off the hand brake before applying gears.



6. Right and left indication light switch -

If you want to turn right push it down. It will signal to those vehicles that are back.

And if you want to go left side, push this up.

7. How to change the Gear -

Before changing the gear -

- Remove feet from the accelerator.

- Now you should press the clutch with your left foot.

- If you want to put 1 gear, then push the gear handle toward left and up.

- If you want to put the 2 gear then pull the gear straight down.

- If you want to put the 3 gear after 2nd gear then pushes it upward then right then up again.

When gear moves freely it means it is in a neutral state. In the neutral state, gear remains between 3 and 4 gear.   

If you want to put reverse gear then pull the gear completely to the right side and then back.

NOTE - Maybe the position of the gears can be different in different types of cars.

8. Start the car now -

Now put the key in the keyhole to start the engine, make sure gear is in neutral and hand brake is off (Just push it down).

- Now press the clutch and put 1st gear. Press clutch fully not half.

- Now slowly remove your clutch. Now your vehicle will start moving slowly. Completly remove feet from the clutch and stat pressing accelerator slowly.

9. How to increase the speed -

Want to increase the speed, you need to change to a higher gear. For that press clutch and then move your gear.

Then remove feet from the clutch and slowly press the accelerator.

10. How to stop the vehicle -

- Now if you want to stop the vehicle now press clutch and then break. Put Gear in a neutral position. Pull the handbrake up, You need to make it on.

11. How to know if your gear is in neutral -

If it is moving freely left and right it means it is neutral and it means there are no gears at that time.

If the gear is not moving it means there is a gear right now. 

12. How to increase the speed of the vehicle?

Press the clutch and increase your gear from lower to higher. Remove the clutch and start pressing the accelerator slowly.

13. How to reverse the car? -

Press the Clutch and put Reverse gear. Now slowly remove your feet from the Clutch, Don't remove your feet completely, now the car will start moving back.

If you need more speed then remove feet from Clutch and start pressing accelerator slowly.
