1. Bhutan is officially known as the Kingdom of Bhutan and its shares its land border with India and China.

2. Thimphu is the capital of Bhutan. And Thimphu is only 2 of the 1 capital city in Asia that don’t have traffic lights. The first one is Pyongyang in North Korea.

3. Dzongkha (Zongkha) is the official language of Bhutan. Most of the people in Bhutan also speak Nepali and Hindi as well.

4. Meaning of Bhutan is “Land of Thunder Dragon”, because of the strong storm that commonly happens in the Himalayas.

5. Bhutan is the only country in the world where tobacco is banned.

6.  Gangkhar Puensum is the tallest peak in Bhutan and its 40th tallest mountain in the world. It's 24,840 feet tall. Still no one climb on this mountain. Buthan's government doesn’t want anyone to go there because of spiritual belief.

7. Bhutan government doesn’t want so many tourists on their land. Because they want to protect their tradition and environment. Forngneir people only allowed to Bhutan after 1974.
