1.Official name of Russia Is Russian Federation. Russia shares its land border with 14 countries. And these countries are -  Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania pronounce as Luthvenia, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, China, and North Korea.

3.Russia is the largest country by area on earth and it has 11 different time zones. Russia is the only country which is located on both continents - Europe and Asia.

4.Russing is the 9th most populous country in the world. 

5.There is a museum in Russia that is guarded by cats. The name of this museum is Hermitage and this is the 2nd largest museum in the world. The work of these cats is to protect artwork from rats.

26.Russia was the first country that sends a dog to space. The dog's name was Laika. 

27.Vodka a popular alcoholic drink was originated in Russia in the 14th century. Russians people love to drink alcohol. The most popular alcoholic beverages are vodka and beer. 

Word Voda means water in Russian, that's where Vodka's name comes from.

30.Every year in the month of June a natural phenomenon happens in Russia. The nights are not dark there is still little light in the sky and this Phenomenon known as White nights. 

There is also a white night festival that happens in Saint Petersburg during these White nights. 

31.First artificial satellite to space send by Russia on 4 October 1957 and the name of this satellite was Sputnik 1.

34.Worlds largest bell is Tsar Bell and situated at Kremlin Moscow. The bell was made in 1735. This bell is a little broken and never been rung. The height of Tsar Bell is 6.14 meters and its weight is 223 tons.

35.Ushanka (Ear-flaps hat) is a traditional Russian winter hat with ear flaps. Most of the Russian people wear this hat during winters.
