Lourdes Grotto in Baguio was established by the Spanish Jesuits in 1907. Then after Jesuits of Baguio City start making stairs and purring flowers and plants all over.

The famous Diplomat hotel is near this place. This hotel is famous because local people believe that this hotel is haunted. And you can see ghosts here at night, that’s what people believe. Due to this Diplomat hotel is one of the major place for panoramic activity in Baguio.
You can easily reach in Diplomat hotel from Lourdes Grotto by just walking. Its only 1.1 Kilometer.

THIS PLACE IS FULL OF THRILL

Main thrill of Lourdes Grotto in Baguio is climbing 252 stairs. And when your climbing will finish you will see an amazing view of Baguio City. And if you wish to climb these 252 stairs just get a water bottle with you. Or if you don’t want to carry water you will see a coconut juice seller in middle of stairs. But better to carry water because may be you cannot found coconut juice or any other items to drink there.

You can reach in Lourdes Grotto by Jeepany easily. Just get a Jeepany going to Lourdes or Dominican hills from Baguio central district (Zandueta street). It will cost you around 10 pesos.

Yes parking is available here free of cost.

VISITING HOURS 

6 AM to 7:30 PM

BEST TIME TO VISIT LOURDES GROTTO IN BAGUIO

IT'S good if you will come here in morning and evening time. You will find much peace here in morning time.
During weekend like Thursday and Friday you will see lots of people here.
