Baguio Botanical Garden is one of the major tourist attractions in summer capital of Philippines Baguio. Place is surrounded by varieties of plants and flowers. At entrance of Baguio Botanical Garden you will see a giant bronze sculpture made by "Ben Hur Villanueva". That represents team effort of Americans, Chinese, and Japanese in building Baguio City. Walking path of this garden made by stone and cement.
Many place to sit and relax here like benches, sheds and kiosks. You will find a man made tunnel here which is known as “Japanese Tunnel” with 150 meter length. Lights are installed in floor of this tunnel so you can walk or see easily inside it. Tunnel was made by Japanese army for transporting. Tunnel was discovered in 1970.

HISTORY –

This park was called with many names, first it was named as Botanical and Zoological Garden. Then it named as Igorot village due to native huts and last Imelda Park.

LOCATION -

37 Leonard Wood Rd, Baguio, 2600 Banquet, Philippines. It’s around 1 KM from Session Road.

ENTRY FEE –

None
If you wish to take picture with locals it will cost you 10 Pesos per head. And if you want to wear locals dress it will cost you 20 pesos.
Baguio Botanical Garden is nice place for tribal gatherings, ritual Outdoor fun and public activities. This garden is pet friendly and has restrooms. Don’t let your kids play alone because there is a pool here, so maybe they can jump in to it.

BY TAXI – You can easily come here by local Baguio taxi. Just tell driver the name of this place.
BY JEEPNEY – Ride a jeepney going Plaza to Mines View, Pacdal, Beckel, Country Club, Navy Base, Tuding and Itogon.
