Chhatarpur temple in Delhi is also known as Katyayani Shakti peetham located in South part of Delhi in Chhatarpur. This temple is dedicated to Goddess KATAYANI.
This temple is just 5 Minute walk from Chhatarpur metro station. And 4 KM from Qutub Minar. Chhatarpur temple complex spread 70 acres and has 20 small others temple.

Goddess katyayani is a part of Hindu goddess Durga. This temple was built in 1970 by BABA SANT NAGPAL. Chhatarpur temple open from 5 AM to 10PM every day. The shrine of Goddess Adya Katyayani is open for darshan only on the full moon days (Poornima) and the holy Navratri festival twice every year.

There is a special ‘Shayya Kaksh’ which is considered to be the resting room of Goddess Katyayani. And has a bed and dressing table made of silver.
There is also a sacred tree in the temple’s compound, and every knot of thread tied to it narrates a story – a story of faith, a story of enthusiasm and religious fervor in the hearts of devotees.

Chhatarpur temple is very famous in locals. Everyone can tell you the way of this temple. On navratras you will see much crowed here. The architecture of this temple is so attractive.
There is a Dharamshala also located in this temple. There are 12 halls available for resting in 1 hall 30 person can easily come. So if you are a volunteers or visiting for religious purpose you can stay here.

In temple you will see 101 Hanuman murti or structure. Free parking facilities also available in Chhatarpur temple.
