Zoo in Delhi

Zoo in Delhi

Zoo in Delhi is located in Mathura Road Sundar Nagar New Delhi. So this zoo is quite big I have to walk approximately 1 and half hour to see every part of zoo.

BEST WAY TO SEE ZOO –

So it's quite big and I feel my legs keeps on paining, while I was in zoo. So if you don't want to walk you can just ride. They have little van that go all over the zoo and it will cost you 70 rupees per person. So when you want to see something you can drop down and come back to van. So just try that Van if you to want your feet paining.

ANIMALS IN THIS DELHI ZOO –

In this zoo you will see many animals like Tiger, elephant, Hippopotamus, monkey, and variety of birds like peacock parrots etc.

FOOD AND DRINK –

There are so many cafes inside the zoo, so there you can drink like water, tea coffee and soft drink. But I didn't see any shop inside the zoo where you can find food. It’s just outside of zoo. You can only found soft drinks and water means only something to drink not something to eat. So before going inside the zoo just eat maybe you will feel hungry.

TIMING -

So this zoo remain open 6 days in a week it will close on Monday and timing of this zoo is 9:30 a.m. to 4 P.M except Monday because it will closed on Monday.
So I just see this zoo only by walking. You can take a ride battery operated van as well, so this is also better for you if you don't want to walk.

ENTRY FEE –

So if you are not Indian means if you are foreigner you will pay 200 rupees to visit this zoo. Delhi zoo spread on 176 acres of land.

HOW TO REACH ZOO IN DELHI –

If you want to go by metro you can just drop yourself in Pragati Maidan metro station and you can take an auto riksha from there they will charge you 20 rupees for sharing.
