Drinking Alcohol is now common while we are in social situations like parties and birthday. Many people keep on drinking because they saw another drinking. They don't even know what alcohol is causing in there bodies. In this post, you know what are the long term side effect of alcohol in your body. So you can think before, drink.

If you continuous drinking for many months then it will damage these organs in your body -

1. Brain

2. Liver

3. Heart

4. Kidney

5. Stomach

6. Pancreas

Now you will ask if I drink once in a week that is ok. That is ok if you consume a moderate amount. But I give you a suggestion not to drink at all because alcohol is highly addictive. After some time you start drinking 2 times in a week then 3 and last daily.

 1. The long term side effect of Alcohol On Brain -

- Alcohol slower down the neurotransmitters in the brain and that causes slow information passes through them. Now your reaction time will increase. 

- Alcohol shrinks and disturbs the brain tissue. So it changes the structure and function of the brain.

- Cause mental disorder like - depression, and Anxiety.

- Even when you drink once in a weak and if the amount is high it can lead to serious damage to the brain and that damage can not be restored.

- Coordination between the brain and body takes time. That is why you should not drink and drive.

- The low long term memory.

- You can not think clearly in your life. So chances are you will make so many wrong decisions in life.

2. Cause cancer - 

Cancer of Liver, mouth, tongue, throat, stomach, and esophagus. And if you use tobacco with alcohol your chances became double of having cancer.

3. Effect on Liver -

Cause fatty liver, fibrosis and cirrhosis. In cirrhosis so many scars form. Advanced cirrhosis can cause death. 

4. Effect on Heart -

The heart also receives blood from the liver. When the liver sends alcohol mixed blood to the heart that can cause many heart problems. Like high blood pressure and stroke.

5. Effect on Kidney - 

Kidney Is filtering the waste material from our blood. Heavy alcohol cause kidney to work harder and that can leads to serious kidney disease. If your liver is not working due to heavy alcohol then the kidney also gets overworked. Because the liver is also filtering the waste material from the blood.

6. Effects on Stomach - 

Due to alcohol stomach starts producing more acid and that leads to stomach inflammation ( swelling and painful). It can also cause bleeding and ulcer in the stomach.

7. Effects on Pancreas -

Pancreas organ is producing 2 important hormone that helps in digesting the food. These hormones also increase and decrease the level of sugar in our body. Long term use of alcohol cause swelling of blood vessel in pancreas this condition also known as Pancreatitis. And this condition is very dangerous.

If your pancreas is not working properly then sugar level in your body will goes down and go up. And that leads to Diabetes.  

8. Effects of social life -

Alchoal addiction causes many social problems like legal and financial. If you are not drinking but your friends force you and you got drunk. Now your brain is not in your control. Now your friends told you lets go out, now you find one alone girl on the road. Now your friends told you lets do something because you are drunk so you will be with your friends. Now you can do some serious crimes like rape and murder.

So anything bad can happen if you drink alcohol anytime.

9. Malnutrition - 

Alcohol damages the tissue in your intestine due to this our intestine can not absorb nutrients and vitamins. That's led to malnutrition.

10. Sexual problems - 

we think if I will dink I can do more fun in bed but that's not true. Alcohol causes erectile dysfunction.

11. Poor bone and muscle health -

 Heavy alcohol leads to thinner bones. If you fell down so your chances are high that you break your bones. And that broke bone takes time to heal.
