What is social anxiety and how to stop this
When we are in social situations like meetings, marriage, with friends, and at the party, if we feel nervous, fear, and embarrassing it is social anxiety. There will be so many negative thoughts in our mind while we are in social situations. like what if they will laugh on me, what if they know I am nervous, maybe they will think there is something wrong with me. If you are suffering from social anxiety you can never enjoy your life. So you have to get rid of this.
Symptoms of social anxiety -
1. Think so much about the upcoming social event.
For example, your relative birthday is next weak but you start thinking about it now. You keep on thinking so many negative like what if I will start sweating and shaking. I don’t know who will I meet there. What they will ask me.
2. And if you're in social situations, your mind will start thinking negatively like am I looking good, if I will say I don’t know what they will think, If somebody talks about you you start sweating, heartbeat rise and you just want to leave from there. Mean you just create an embarrassing situation for you.
3. You start avoiding social gatherings. You will give many excuses so you can not go to that social gathering. For example, your friends are getting married but you are not going because of social anxiety and you make an excuse for your exam or lack of leave, etc.
4. You are not enjoying life. You became frustrated because of this. Because you don’t want to go out because of this anxiety. You want to do enjoy your life like you want to have some fun with girls but you can't because you got anxious.
5. It's interfering with your life like in a job, school, or college. You don’t want to go to school or college because of this anxiety.
6. You have fear of being judge while in social situations. Like what if they will see you if you are nervous. They will laugh at me.
7. This means every time where you need to interact with people you start avoiding. You love to live alone.
How to get rid of social anxiety -
1. If you are a parent you should let your children play with there friends. If you put a restriction on their freedom the chance of having social anxiety in them will be high. Most of the time social anxiety arises during childhood. Discipline is good if it's not much. If social anxiety will arise in your child then his chance of getting success in life will be less.
2. Stop Masturbation, yes doing masturbation cause so many chemical imbalances in the brain. That's lead to social anxiety. After doing masturbation we want to live alone.
3. It comes out from your comfort zone. If you really want to enjoy your life you have to face social situations. There is no other way. You have to face those situations but slowly. Like if you are invited to someone's marriage then just go don’t say no. Daily start meeting with some people. At least spend only 10 minutes in beginning.
Don’t stay at home at stop watching those movies and serials. These will not give you anything.
4. Do exercise every day. It helps a lot of building confidence in you.
5. Do meditation. It will reduce the negative thoughts that keep on coming in our mind during social situations. Meditation also boosts your concentration.
6. Do breathing exercises, they help a lot in social anxiety. It will lower your heartbeat.
7. Leave alcohol and smoking. Because they increase anxiety.
8. We should not think about what other people will say. Yes, people are not caring so much about you. Like how you are behaving and acting. If you are sweating and feeling uncomfortable in social situations don’t worry about people they will forget it. So just face your fear and keeps on mixing with people. So don’t think what people will think about me. Just go and develop your self.
9. Don’t take life so seriously. You don’t know when you will die. So just fun and go enjoy yourself with friends. Why this small creepy anxiety is holding you back.
