WHERE TO EAT BEST THAI STREET FOOD IN BANGKOK 

If you are a food lover then you must visit Bangkok and try Thai street food here. Bangkok is a heaven for food lovers.

So if you are coming to Thailand you should try Bangkok street food. I have listed down some of the famous places in Bangkok to have a different kind of Thai street food.

Most of the street food vendors are closed on Monday. So try not to go to these places on Monday.


1.CHINATOWN -
Nice place to have varieties of Thai street food. Here you will find many street food stalls, markets, carts, and restaurants.

Bangkok Chinatown is also known as “ Yaowarat” ( Ya -wa -rat). This is the place where Thai street food originates.

You should try the famous “Oyster Omelets”, Birds nest soup, Iced milk tea, Meat curry with rice, Seafoods, and suckling pig of Chinatown.

If you also love Indian food then Chinatown in Bangkok is the best place for you.

The best time to come here for street food is the evening after 5 PM.

If you love shopping then you also should come to Bangkok Chinatown. You can try shopping in the Sampeng market. It's like a big public market with lots of stuff.

How to reach here -
Get an MRT till Hua Lamphong and then by walking within 10 minutes you will reach in Chinatown.

2. SILOM -
Try in Soi convent and Soi 20 for best Thai street food. Silom is known as the financial district of Bangkok.

How to reach here -
Ride a BTS Skytrain to Chong Nonsi. Then after 15 minutes walk, you will in Silom soi 20.

3. RATCHAWAT (RAT - CHA - WAT) MARKET -
Try their noddles with chicken, dry noodles also known as Tum Yum Haeng. Ratchawat market is located in the Dusit area.

How to reach here -
Take BTS Skytrain to Victory monuments then take a taxi. A taxi will take just 10 minutes to reach here.

4. VICTORY MONUMENT -
This place is one of the busiest transportation hubs in Bangkok. You can catch the bus going to every part of Bangkok from here.

You can find here different varieties of Thai street food which you will love.

Just ride Until BTS victory monument station.

5. BANG RAK -
This place is so popular for Thai, Indian, Chinese and western food.

How to reach here -
Take BTS Skytrain till Sala Daeng. Bang Rak is just 5 minutes walk from here.

6. KHAO SAN ROAD -
This road and a nearby street Soi Rambuttri has many good options for Thai street food.

How to reach here -

Take a BTS SkyTrain to Saphan Taksin station then go down to Sathorn pier under the bridge.
Then take a Chao Phraya Express boat to Phra Arthit pier. Then just walk little.

7. BANGKOK OLD TOWN -
This place is also known as Banglamphu. Here you can find old-style Thai food.

How to reach here -
This place is near to Khao San Raod so just follow the same path as I mentioned for Khao san road. 

8. NIGHT MARKET RATCHADA -
Best place to have some Thai food for lunch and dinner. These markets open in the day time as well.  

How to reach here -
Get an MRT till Thailand Cultural Station, From here just walk 2 minutes.

9. WANG LANG MARKET -
This famous market is located just in front of the Chao Phraya River. Really a nice place to visit if you want different kinds of Thai street food.

This market opens every day from 9 am to 5 pm.

How to reach here -
Take a public boat to Wang lang pier from Saphan Taksin.

Or you can take a boat from Tha Chang Pier. This place is near the Grand Palace.

10. TALAT PHLU -
The very clean and organized market in Bangkok. Talat Phlu is best if you want to try different kinds of Thai street foods.

How to reach here -
Just get BTS Skytrain till Talat Phlu.

11. KHLONG TOEI MARKET -
This market is the largest in Bangkok and you should try for Thai street food. This market remains crowded while it is open.

How to reach here -

Take MRT till Khlong Toei then You need to walk until 15 minutes to reach here. You can also get a taxi if you want.
