Things You Should Never Do After Eating
1. DRINKING TEA OR COFFEE -
If you drink tea or coffee just after eating, your body can not absorb Iron properly. And due to this, you can suffer anemia, lack of appetite, cold feet/Hands and Pale skin (whiting of the skin due to lack of Red blood cells).
Tea and coffee create an acidic environment inside our stomach. These acids make protein so hard to digest. You should avoid drinking tea or coffee just after meals. Gives yourself at least 1 hour's time.
2. TAKING BATH OR SHOWER -
When we take bath just after eating then our food will be not digested properly. Our bodies can not absorb all the important nutrients.
When we take bath just after eating the blood start flowing towards our arms and legs and there is very less blood flow in the stomach for digestion.
3. SLEEP -
Just after taking a meal if you sleep or lie down, it will cause discomfort, gas pain, and bad sleep.
And Your chance of having a stroke and heart problems will be higher if you sleep just after eating.
4. SMOKING -
If you smoke 1 cigarette just after you eat, it will equal to 10 cigarettes. So many studies have shown that.
Smoking also cause so many health problems, it is better to leave it.
5. EATING FRUITS -
Eating fruits just after your meal can cause stomach problems. Fruits will be not digested properly.
The best time for eating fruits is morning in an empty stomach.
Give your self at least 2 hours' time after your meal. Then you can eat fruit.
6. DRINKING WATER -
You should never drink water while and after eating. Because water will delay the digestion process or sometime your food will not get digested properly.
There should be at least 1-hour gap to drink water after your meals.
7. BRUSH -
After a meal, there are some acids left in our tooth. These acids can damage our tooth enamel if we brush just after we eat.
Give your self at least 1 hour after your meal. And don’t forget to rinse your mouth after a meal.
8. WALKING -
Yes, it's true that after eating you should not walk. You should wait at least 30 minutes.
You can do Vajrasana just after eating for 5 to 10 minutes. It will increase your digestion speed.
