How to reach Phuket from Bangkok and Krabi

Phuket is a Popular Island located in the southwest part of Thailand. Phuket is connected with other parts of Thailand by Bridge names as “ Thao Thepkasattri Bridge”.

Phuket is famous for its beautiful beaches, Nightlife, and luxurious resorts.

From Bangkok to Phuket -

1. BY PLANE -

This is the fastest and convenient option to reach Phuket from Bangkok. Phuket international airport is the Thainad second busiest airport. 

Daily these airline flights fly to Phuket from Bangkok. Nok Air, Thai Airways, and Thai Lion Air.

You can get Flight from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang Airport. You can easily book tickets online. The air Asia fare starts from  Baht.

The flight will take 1 and a half hours.

 

2. BY BUS -

Cheap option but takes 13 to 16 hours to reach. You can easily get tickets online from 1000 Baht.

Or you can get bus tickets in Bangkok for Phuket from Southern Bus Terminal or the Mo Chit Northern Bus Terminal.


3. BY TRAIN -

There is no direct train from Bangkok to Phuket. You need to book the train till Surat Thani then from there you need to get a bus to Phuket.

You can get a train to Surat Thani from Bangkok Hua LamPhong station.

The train will take around 9 hours. Then the bus will take around 5 hours from Surat Thani to Phuket.

 You can easily get a bus from Surat Thani railway station.

 

KRABI TO PHUKET -

BY FERRY -

In Krabi just ride a bot from Nopporat Thara pier located in Ao Nang. Now you need to choose which pier in Phuket you will get down.

Bang Rong Pier - Outside the town

It will take around 3 hours to reach Phuket and cost around 600 Baht.

But if you take a speed boat that will a little expensive and reach within 1 and a half hours.

BY BUS -

This is the cheapest way to travel Phuket from Krabi. It will cost around 150 Baht and takes around 4 hours.

You can get a bus to Phuket from Krabi Bus Terminal. And in Phuket, it will reach at Phuket bus terminal 2.
