- Coronary heart disease - When the Coronary arteries became narrow or block. Coronary arteries supply oxygen to the heart muscle.
- Angina - Pain in the chest due to lack of supply of oxygen to the heart. Whenever you are stressed or drinking alcohol and using tobacco then Angina happen.
- Heart attack - when the blood supply to your heart muscle completely blocks.
- Heart failure - When the Heart can not supply proper blood to various body parts.
- High blood pressure - When the heart pumps the blood with high pressure.
How to make your Heart Healthy and Strong -
1. Leave tobacco - Tobacco makes heart arteries narrow by building plaque in them.
2. Stop alcohol - Alcohol gets mixed with blood and that leads to high blood pressure. If you will use alcohol for a long time that will lead to high blood pressure, weak heart muscle, and irregular heartbeat.
3. Do exercise every day - Do Any physical activities like walking, running, and Push-ups every day at least for 30 to 40 minutes.
Exercise is best for the heart because it Lower the blood pressure, make cholesterol level normal and helps in reducing weight. Exercise also reduces the stress hormone, which gives less burden to the heart.
The heart is like a muscle, to make it strong you need to do exercise every day.
But if you already have any heart problems then please consult with a doctor before doing exercise.
4. Eat healthy - Incude more fruits and vegetables into your diet. They help in reducing cholesterol levels.
5. Avoid eating trans fat or hydrogenated oil -
Trans fat blocks the arteries and that causes a heart attack. Trans fat is present in -
- Baked products like cookies, cake, and pie.
- Margarine
- Fast fried food
- Shortening
- Non-Dairy Coffee Creamers
- Pizza and Burgers
Read labels carefully before buying anything.
6. Be stress-free -
Stress and anxiety have very harmful effects on the heart. So try to be stress-free by doing meditation and breathing exercises.
